Amos 6-9
Amos is kind of ominous, but there is hope in 9:11-15. Israel will be planted anew. After all the sinners have been shaken and the land broken, there is hope for new growth. Kind of gives me hope, too, considering what's going on in the world and this country. When everything is broken, a new day will dawn.
Tomorrow: Obadiah & Jonah

Hey Turner...just wanted to send a "hello" through the blogosphere! Also, I'm curious...what translation are you using for your readings?
This is the New International Version. I started out with The Message but decided I might be missing some familiar things with a translation that was too contemporary.
